We have adopted this privacy policy to explain how Research Polls and its corporate affiliates (“Research Polls”, or “we”, “us”, “our”) collect, use, and share personal information (“Personal Information”) which we collect via the services offered on our Research Polls website located at https://research-polls.com (collectively, the “Platform”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personally identifiable information you may provide us through the Website.
This Privacy Policy, together with the Terms of Service posted on our website, set forth the general rules and policies governing your use of the Platform. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully so that you can make an informed decision about using the Platform. If you do not agree to this privacy policy, you may not use the Platform. By registering an account to use the Platform, and by using the Platform, you are agreeing to this privacy policy and consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this privacy policy. Please note we make the Platform available through specific user applications that are created for, and administrated by, our Research Polls clients (each, a “Client Application”). These privacy obligations are taken seriously, and the Personal Information provided to us is used only as specified in this privacy policy.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DOES THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVER?
This privacy policy covers the Personal Information that is collected on or through the Platform, and from which an individual may be personally identified. Personal Information includes, without limitation, an individual’s name, email, street address, telephone number, geolocation information, image, gender, and other such information provided by the individual.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
We will collect Personal Information when you register an account with us, use the Platform or its features to communicate or interact with others via the Platform, or register to receive updates from us. As part of the registration process, we may collect login information such as your username, password, and security questions and answers.
When using the Platform, you may send messages to other users of the Platform or to external recipients. As part of the service, we receive copies of the messages you send to, and receive from, these individuals. We also receive any communications you send to us regarding the Platform or our services.
INFORMATION YOU DISCLOSE THROUGH USE OF THE PLATFORM
The Platform may allow you to transmit text messages (“Content”) via the Platform. We may contract with third parties to help facilitate the transmission or sharing of your Content through the Platform. Any phone numbers collected will not be shared outside of Research Polls. You should note that other people may be able to view your Content once it has been transmitted through, or uploaded to, the Platform, and may use or share it with third parties. We have limited control over who views your Content while it is being transmitted through the Platform and no control over who views your Content after it has been transmitted through or uploaded to the Platform, or any third party uses that are made of your Content. This privacy policy will not apply to third party uses of any Content after it is transmitted through the Platform. 2. COLLECTION OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use a technology called “cookies” to store session information. A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is sent to your browser from a website’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We use Session Cookies to track your account login status. This cookie is only ever transmitted over HTTPS. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. We use persistent cookies to determine from where you were referred to our website, as well as the last user ID that you used to log in. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track visitors’ and users’ movements around the website and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
We link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information. IP addresses are tied to Personal Information to better gauge our visitors’ and users’ needs and provide specific information to best serve them.
We may partner with a third party ad network to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partner may use cookies and web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on this and other websites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. 3. CHILDREN’S PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not knowingly collect, use, maintain or disclose Personal Information of children younger than 16 years of age (“children”).

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We will use information collected through the Platform to provide our services and to provide you with information you request or that we believe you would be interested in receiving.
In addition, we use Personal Information to improve, expand, and promote the Platform and our services; provide support and notifications and develop new features; provide you with personalized advertising and marketing; personalize the Platform experience for you; detect, prevent, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities; and enforce our Terms of Use.
If you use the Platform to send someone an invitation to join the Platform, the information you provide may be used to facilitate the communication on your behalf and will not be used for other purposes unless we obtain consent from that person.
5. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION BY THE PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR
Information about your use of the Platform as an end-user will also be available to the Research Polls client that is administering the Client Application. For more information about this Research Polls client’s privacy practices, please refer to the client’s privacy policy.
6. WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Any phone numbers collected will not be shared outside of Research Polls. We may share non-Personal Information, such as aggregate user statistics, demographic information, and usage information with third parties. We may also share your information as disclosed at the time you provide your information, as set forth in this privacy policy.
BUSINESS TRANSFERS
Any phone numbers collected will not be shared outside of Research Polls. We may share your Personal Information with other entities affiliated with us for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes. Research Polls, or any of its assets, including the Platform, may be sold, or other transactions may occur in which your Personal Information is one of the business assets of the transaction. In such case, your Personal Information may be transferred.
LEGAL PROTECTIONS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT

We reserve the right to change, modify or add to this privacy policy at any time, and to apply any such change, modification or addition to Personal Information that we have already collected.
